SUBJECT       : Announcement of Successful Winner

The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Myanma Posts and Communications (MPT), Project Management Unit (MPU) Evaluation Committee, is pleased to announce that KT-DT Consortium has been selected as the successful winner of Bids on Myanmar IT Infra-Network Expansion Projectin EDCF & MTC/MPT bidding process and upon the final approval of Executive Committee in MTC dated on July 6, 2016 in Nay Pyi Taw as well as Korea EDCF’s approval dated on May 31, 2016.

Based on EDCF and MTC/MPT bidding & award process, MPT PMU & Evaluation Committee, has evaluated the Technical & Price Proposals for the Bidders, and KT-DT Consortium as the Successful winneris given a Contract Award pursuant to the successful negotiation of a mutually agreed Contract Agreement with the Minutes of Contract Finalization Discussion (MoD) and Agreed-to Contract Amendments, and affirmative evaluation of Post-Qualification, according to the EDCF Guideline and MPT’s internal procurement procedures.

Thus KT-DT Consortium is requested to submit the Performance Security (Bond) within twenty-eight (28) days of the Notification of Contract Award, and enter into the signing on Contract Agreement and the execution of the Contract upon the close cooperation with MTC/MPT under the Republic of the Union of Myanmar’s Approval Process.
