SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperature in Chin State, 2°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.3°C in Hakha, 4.8°C in Tiddim, 5.0°C in Mongyang, 5.9°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C in Loilin, 6.7°C in Heho, 7.4°C in Putao, 7.6°C in Pinlaung, 8.9°C in Lashio and 9.0°C in Hsipaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th February 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair weather in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States.
