1.      Developers of local and international organizations interested in investment are invited to bid on the design, construction, and operation of an Online Ticketing and Payment System for purchasing train tickets online. The initial implementation of this project is planned for Yangon-Mandalay, Yangon-Pyay-Bagan, and Yangon-Mawlamyine sections.

2.      The entity responsible for implementing the Online Ticketing and Payment System can be a Myanmar-owned company, a foreign-owned company, or a joint venture or consortium. All such entities are eligible to participate in the bidding process.

3.      The selection process for this project will be implemented in two phases: submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) and submission of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for those who succeed in the EOI stage. In the first stage, local and international companies interested in investing and operating this project are invited to submit their EOIs.

4.      Interested investors can purchase the EOI documents from which is 300,000 MMK for one set at the Supply Department of  Myanma Railways, on the corner of Merchant Road and 51st Street, Botahtaung Township, Yangon, during office time from (22- 7- 2024) to (2-8-2024).

5.      The Proposal for EOI shall be submitted to the Supply Department of Myanma Railways, at the corner of Merchant Road and 51st Street, Botahtaung Township, Yangon, no later than (16.9.2024) 2:30 PM.
